Teresa Bergan I am an IRS registered tax return preparer and i work for a local accounting office. Math was NOT my favorite in school and it was the only subject i struggled with immensely. So i never would have imagined doing what i do now as a profession, crazy! I have FOUR children, my oldest is my only son, i was blessed (or cursed) with all girls after him.My son is now 23 and the girls are 20, 12 and 4. I now have a granddaughter from my oldest daughter. I was not ready to be called "grandma" so she and everyone else, call me "yia-yia" which is the Greek word for grandmother. I have some great (hilarious) memories of our class and our schools, especially high school.I grew up in Clear Lake and i am proud of it. Go Lions!!! 2017
Bobbi (Bird) James I'm married, have 3 children and one grand daughter. I work at Mercy. 2016
Jennifer (Chaney) Weaver After leaving Clear Lake in 1987, my parents, sister, and I moved to Hawaii, where I graduated from high school in 1992. I went to college at Colorado State and graduated from there in 1996 with a Bachelors in Animal Science. Since then, I have lived in California (briefly) and then moved to Lincoln, NE, where I started a Masters in Animal Genetics. I didn’t finish my Masters, but I met my husband in Lincoln and we planned to get married in 2001. Instead, we moved to the Kansas City, KS area in 2001 and put our wedding off until spring of 2002. We moved back to Iowa in 2005, to be closer to my parents and grandparents. My family and I are living in Donnellson, Iowa. We have 2 children (Kacey 2002 and Jesse 2005), 4 horses, a dog, and 2 cats! My husband and I recently started a trucking business—he does the trucking, I run the office—and I also train horses on the side and give riding lessons (plus being full time Mommy and helping my parents in the office of their plumbing business)! We are constantly busy, but I often wonder what has happened to all of you in Clear Lake! 05/2007
Megan Cory-Abril Born in Lincoln, NE
I attended Clear Lake K-5th (I think)
Recently married in 2002 to a truly amazing man whom I have known since 1994. (Let me preface this by saying that it is amazing that I married AT ALL as I am a bit of a hard-headed feminist—so my husband has to be pretty special). We have survived a default wedding in Vegas and moving back to the San Francisco Bay area for my husband to go to Law school—so far so good!
No kids yet—we’re on the “Law School Birthing Plan” at this time.
I went to Northern AZ University in Flagstaff, AZ and graduated in 97 with a degree in Advertising—and like most graduates haven’t used those skills since! I moved to Portland, OR where I worked in Sales, then after a year moved to San Francisco where I was a Recruiter in Staffing. After a while my fiancé and I moved back to Phoenix and I continued to work in Recruiting—and currently am back in the SF Bay area and work in HR for banks.
Travels include Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; DC; Vegas, Baby!; Southern CA; North Carolina; and New York City—just recently—and if you haven’t been you MUST go!
Hobbies: Oh how I love the beach and when I get the chance my husband and I will visit my brother in San Diego and learn to surf...inspired by such shows as “Boarding House” and “Surf Girls”. Deep down I know I am a “soul surfer”...just without the practice...well, and a board, so maybe I am dreaming. On a more realistic note I enjoy painting and have sold a few in my lifetime, but I do have a passion for flea market finds and restoring furniture. 05/2007
